Relational and Marriage Therapy - Billing Information

Please note that insurance companies, regardless of the provider's in-network or out-of-network status, typically do not cover marriage or relational therapy. The focus of relational therapy is to improve relationship dynamics and communication, and therefore does not met "medical necessity" criteria required by 3rd party payers. 

 

Couples therapy appointments are billed at a rate of $160 per session (50 min) under diagnostic code Z63.0 Problems w Relationship or Partner

 

Payment is due at the time of service, processed by card on file. Services are FSA/HSA eligible.
